The Dartry tea factory was acquired on the 29th of October 2009 by the Meezan Group of companies and   is located 2km away from the Gampola town, en route to the cool climes of Nuwara Eliya.

 The tea Factory operates solely on bought leaf and until recently processed approximately 12,000kg per day. However, following recent developments by the new Management the production capacity was extended to 20,000kg of green leaf per day.  

The factory is surrounded by 5 acres of estate owned land complemented with an elegant cottage situated within its calm and tranquil environs.
